An engaging young singer, accomplished songwriting and solid musicianship give the father-daughter team a sound all their own. Hard to classify but loads of fun with a touch of vintage charm, their refreshing style has earned them widespread recognition. Fans from around the globe have enjoyed the musical rapport and humor apparent in their performances.

In 2008, The Barnkickers had the #1 featured video on YouTube and performed with Julia Nunes and other artists at the Bushman Ukulele Luau. In 2009 they released “Up Before Noon”, their debut CD of original music. This CD was featured in the popular Flea Market Music and Elderly Instruments catalogs and earned them the appreciation of fans such as Ukulele Noir host Craig Robertson and Jerry Corbitt of the Youngbloods.

Steve Boisen of The Barnkickers also produced "Square Pegs & Round Holes”, a compilation CD created to benefit the American Asperger’s Association, a non-profit organization that provides free treatment to children with a type of high functioning autism known as Asperger’s Syndrome. The title track was written and recorded by The Barnkickers and the other artists involved include Greg Hawkes of The Cars and 60's pop star/Grammy winner Ian Whitcomb. The Barnkickers were also featured in "A Distictive Style" magaizne.
